Environment Services
Atmospheric Pollution Solution
There are lots of needs for the assessment of the air quality exhausted from an an industrial process, whether to follow the legal constraints, to understand the impact of a process for its own improvement or to prevent conflicts with the neighbourhood due to an environmental nuisance.
Ambient Air Analysis Service
For any modern industry, it has become essential to have a sustainabIe integration within a socio-economical. To reach such an objective, companies have to be committed to transparency and shall advertise on their environmental policy.
Indoor Air Quality Service
We are all heavily exposed to indoor air, as we spend almost 90% of our time in confined spaces, such as buildings or transports.
Industrial Hygiene Service
Whatever the size of a company, workplace legislation requires to manage and assess professional risk.
Sustainable Products-Emissions Service from Materials
Plastics, solvents, synthetic or natural products involved in the following end-use application of modern life: Building (floor and wall coverings, paints, varnishes, sealants, glues, insulation materials, furniture...). Transport (seats, dashboards, roof stuffing...). Packaging are of increasing complexity involving many additives which may emit volatile and/or odorous compounds. These chemicals may have negative effects on the well-being (undesirable smells) and health (allergies, eyes and throat irritations, headaches...) of the people exposed.
Recycling Service
Waste management, including recycling and valorisation, is becoming a more and more interesting market. Nowadays, the key factors are not only the collection and the sorting of the wastes but also a better management of their valorisation at an industrial scale.
Other Services
Contract Research
Our R&D activities are of three types: Contract research are financed by private companies and organisations. Certech can also help companies to find grants and financial support from public organisations. Public research: R&D projects funded by public authorities. They are generally executed in partnership (other research centers, universities, industries) Proprietary research: self-funded products/process development projects to improve the IP portfolio. Certech has created in 2005 a spin-off - VALORE SA - to develop and produce products based on some of Certech-owned technologies. This independent company produces and commercialises specific compounds or additives. It is as well a technical and commercial development tool for Certech customers.
