  • Distribute packing pieces in a random manner and never let them fall more than four feet. This is especially important in cold weather since the ductility of the plastic resin will be reduced.
  • Make sure the packing fills all the space in the packed bed section.
  • Note the position of sensors when they become buried in packing.
  • Do not drop packing on sensitive process measurement devices.
  • Be careful not to leave any foreign materials in the packed bed section. Make sure all tools, boxes, bags, etc. are removed.
