Network rehabilitation and extension projects require major investments. The most economic and sustainable alternative is determined on the basis of up-to-date information. Feasibility studies include gathering technical, institutional, economic and social information about the supply area. To complete these data, extensive field investigation and measurements are carried out.
Based on the results of previous feasibility studies, the rehabilitation requirements are estimated and the final design is elaborated. Tender documents for supply of material and construction works are prepared and published. Offers are evaluated and contracts are awarded. During the implementation phase SETEC Engineering is responsible for the construction supervision. From the beginning the clients staff is involved in all activities in order to guarantee sustainability of project measures.
