Landfill construction and closure has been a core service provided by Sevenson since 1976 when we built our first commercial hazardous waste landfill for SCA, Services, Inc. (now known as CWM Chemical Services LLC). A recent expansion project for the Delaware Solid Waste Authority at its Cherry Island Landfill facility in Wilmington, Delaware, earned the design and construction team Geosyntec and Sevenson a nomination for the American Society of Civil Engineers OPAL Award for outstanding civil engineering achievement.
