LCA Screenings

One of the first stages of lifecycle assessment is called `Screening`. It is a very short study using existing data or provisional alternatives to respond to questions such as: * Comparison of two different types of materials in a product development project. * Is the use phase dominant and is it justified to invest all our efforts in that phase? * Does transport have a significant environmental load or is it negligible? This is a simplified method of LCA used to identify environmental hotspots where emissions of particular interest occur.
