Mining Geology / Economic Geology Service
ENVIGEO was established in 1994 by professionals - mostly geologists - from previous state company Geological Survey. Geological Survey had monopoly on investigation of ore and industrial mineral deposits within the Slovakia before 1989. Though services provided by ENVIGEO have changed to much wider range since 1994, ENVIGEO still remains respected geological consulting company in Slovakia.
We are experienced in investigation of ore deposits (Au - Ag, Sb, polymetals Cu – Pb – Zn) as well as industrial mineral deposits (magnesite, building stone, brick clay, ceramic and fireproof clays), including non-traditional minerals for environmental use (bentonite, zeolite, puzzolana).
ENVIGEO professionals have done several tens mineral reserve calculations of many deposits within the Slovakia and provided several investigations and reconnaissances mostly for the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic, but also for mining companies and exploration.
ENVIGEO provides consultancy services of wide range, including environmental services to development companies coming to Slovakia start mining business. In last years it was mostly companies developing gold deposits.
