MS-based High-throughput Assays Services

Isoformix has recently developed MS-based high-throughput assays for analysis of apolipoproteins E, C-I, C-II and C-III from small volumes of human plasma, serum, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and brain samples. The apoE assay simultaneously detects the three apoE isoforms (E2, E3, and E4) and their glycoforms in a manner that preserves the isoform-specific glycosylation. The apoC-I and C-II assay detects the native proteins and their truncated isoforms. The apoC-III assay detects multiple glycoforms of the protein. These assays were recently demonstrated and utilized in larger cohorts.
