FromClean Harbors
Clean Harbors uses CATnap, an exclusive technique for quick and safe unloading of catalysts from petroleum processing units. The CATnap process allows the spent catalyst to be removed in an air atmosphere versus purging the reactor with nitrogen and performing inert entry. Unit shutdown time may be decreased by as much as 48 hours by reducing or negating the hydrogen stripping process. Elimination of dust during the unloading process increases productivity and health and safety in and around the reactor being serviced.
