PCBD Process
Sanexen developed its proprietary PCBD process for the decontamination and regeneration of PCB-contaminated mineral oils. The ability of this mobile process to perform in situ decontamination on either de-energized or energized transformers represents a significant asset. Ultrasorption is another of Sanexen’s proprietary technologies used in the treatment of water contaminated by heavy organic compounds such as PCBs, PAHs and PCPs. This process, also mobile, can be adapted according to project requirements.
Futhermore, Sanexen provides certificates of destruction for use in declassifying PCB-contaminated materials. The company declassifies sites previously used for storing PCB-contaminated materials prior to undertaking the site abandonment process based on authorities` environmental standards.
