Physical And Chemical Treatment Services
Due to Regional decision n° A2952 of 11/09/08, Navarra Inc. can perform processes of waste stabilization. This D9 activity is a chemical-physical process that neutralizes contaminated substances by fixing them inside a neutral matrix; fixing agents (like lime, cement, silicates etc.,) then, are mixed with waste. The so produced product is highly resistant to percolation waters as well to the potentially noxious agents which can typically be found in landfills. The reduced exposed surfaces and the chemical fixation process produce this kind of effect. The complex technology devices owned by Navarra Inc. can perform the following waste stabilization treatments:
- neutral basis concreting processes;
- processes that use lime as the main binding agent.
These treatments also include the mixing of different waste typologies following the derogation from Art.187 of D.Lgs* 152/06 The company has two stabilization plants one of which is a batch plant that is a unique device with an advanced technology.

The Environmental Integrated Authorization n° A2952 of 11/09/2008 allows Navarra Inc. to mix hazardous waste or hazardous with non-hazardous waste following specific guidelines contained in the Regional Decision, in spite of Art. 187 of D.Lgs. n°152/06.
This D9 disposal activity can be realized on consistent liquid waste, in order to obtain materials fit for a final destination in dumps or to be incinerated or purified.
