Due to Regional decision n° A2952 of 11/09/08, Navarra Inc. can perform processes of waste stabilization. This D9 activity is a chemical-physical process that neutralizes contaminated substances by fixing them inside a neutral matrix; fixing agents (like lime, cement, silicates etc.,) then, are mixed with waste. The so produced product is highly resistant to percolation waters as well to the potentially noxious agents which can typically be found in landfills. The reduced exposed surfaces and the chemical fixation process produce this kind of effect. The complex technology devices owned by Navarra Inc. can perform the following waste stabilization treatments:

The Regione Lazio “Determinazione” (Decision) n°A2952 of 11/09/08 allows to the Navarra Inc. plant, located in Ferentino in Via Morolense Km 1.100 n°39, to do the activities listed below.These activities can be carried out on every kind of waste listed in the last EWC catalogue (in force since 01/01/2002).For these kind of activities the Company has stuff like:  presses, grinders, trucks etc…

In the plant there is a specific place destined to store highly inflammable substances, called CASAMATTA (a military Italian term)

The analysis laboratory controls the incoming waste and it’s used during the following treatments.

In one of the plants there is a specific area equipped for the treatment of waste coming from micro-collection, for example: oil filters, oil, sludge from car paint cabins, brake pads, tins, cleaning cloth, batteries and so on. Those materials, then, are sent to the authorized plants for the final treatment.

The Company collects and transports both hazardous and non-hazardous waste, following the Italian Road Code and environmental rules.The appropriate vehicles are chosen depending on the waste transported. Periodic maintenance routines are carried out on the vehicles in order to guarantee their perfect efficiency.Each transportation requires its own documentation, following the in force rules.Hazardous waste transportation is signaled by appropriate panels.
