Retirement Plans

Profit Sharing Plan - Barnard offers a profit-sharing plan after you have completed one year of service, at no cost to you. The contribution to this plan is determined by company performance that year.
401(k) Savings Plan - This voluntary plan allows you to save money on a before-tax basis. Barnard has a generous match.

Vacation
Two weeks of vacation are earned for each calendar year of service; three weeks are earned after 10 years of service.

Holidays
A minimum of six holidays plus the day after Thanksgiving are observed.

Bonuses and Salary Increases
All salaried employees are reviewed annually. A bonus has been paid to each salaried employee each year.

Allowances and Reimbursements
Barnard pays the following allowances to salaried employees working at our project job sites:

Travel and Subsistence Allowance - paid weekly when working at projects located away from the home office.
Airline Allowance - paid weekly at projects greater than 350 miles from Bozeman.
Pickup Reimbursement - Barnard will offer the employee the use of a company vehicle or we will reimburse the employee for the use of his or her vehicle.
