The Thermal Technologies Centre combines unique testing and scale-up facilities with practical experience and applied knowledge of science and engineering which includes high temperature process engineering, and economics. The centre has facilities ranging from laboratory to demonstration scale which have the ability for clients to ‘drop in’ their own equipment.
Our highly skilled staff have extensive experience of turning products and processes from bench scale into marketable, commercialised products. We offer scale up solutions, either bespoke or via the use of our existing assets, to overcome potential problems while proving your product or process concept.
The Thermal Technologies Centre also owns and operates a range of complementary laboratory and demonstration pilot plant assets which are available to replicate your process or area of interest. This enables proof of concept work to be carried out without the need for time on plant or significant capital investment and, most crucially, permitting reduced time to market.
