Radiation Monitoring Service
AEIL has film badges to meet state and federal specifications for industrial, medical, dental and research applications. Construction is of durable plastic holders with maximum filtration area. High quality badges are utilized to monitor a wide range of X-Ray, beta, and gamma radiation. AEIL`s dosimetry service is accredited by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) through the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) Lab Code 100555-0. TLD Rings and Wrist Badges are available for extremity monitoring. Reports are guaranteed within 21 business days, with the average being 15 days. Due to the stress of Covid-19, turn-around time for reports may be extended. 24 hour Emergency Processing service is also available. Quarterly or annual personnel reports (NRC-5) are available in addition to dosimetry reports.
B-4 = Whole body Film badge for monitoring X-ray, Beta and Gamma.
F-4 = Extremity TLD Ring badge for monitoring X-ray, Beta and Gamma.
E-4 = Extremity Film Wrist badge for monitoring X-ray, Beta and Gamma.
Whole body and extremity dosimeters are available on a monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly exchange frequency. Pricing is prorated and is contingent on the number of dosimeters shipped at any one time.
Duration of Service - Service will continue until written notification is received at our office 35 days before cancellation is deemed by the client. Prices are subject to change without notice, however, clientele are routinely given a 30 day notice for any changes in price, unless a change stems from the manufacturer.
