Biosmart FOG (Fat Oil and Grease) Degrader

Biosmart FOG Degreaser is a concentrated dry formulation of enzymes selectively adapted to the accelerated breakdown and removal of oily material (fats, grease and oil), whether of animal or vegetable origin. Floating and/or solidified oils and greases are a major cause of operating difficulties in wastewater treatment systems.

Formulated specifically for the use in the treatment of wastewater emanating from food processing industries involved in meat & poultry packing, cheese & vegetable oil manufacturing, dairy processing, rendering, etc. When your waste is treated prior to entering the municipal wastewater treatment system - the enzymes have digested the waste and turned it into a product that is 1 00% natural and readily disposed of within regular municipal wastewater guidelines -with no additional disposal surcharges.

• Cultures grow in either the presence or absence of oxygen, digesting FOG and starch by either process that is available to them.
• Tested and certified negative for Salmonella, Shigella & E.Coli
• Contains a unique new strain of Bacillus that oxidizes hydrogen sulphide to sulphate.
• Inhibits formation of hydrogen sulphide gas and its accompanying odours.
• Digests fats, oils, and food grease in lift stations, grease traps, septic systems, interceptors, collection systems and drain lines.
• During oxidation of hydrogen sulphide, this product will reduce nitrate and nitrite, minimizing residual TKN (Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen) reported in MWT discharge.
• Improved degradation and deodorization of acetic, butyric, isobutyric, isovaleric, lactic, palmitic, propionic, stearic and valeric organic and fatty acids, partially responsible for odour in some lift stations.
• Good stability and long shelf life.
• Contains no chemical surfactants or detergents.
• Effective over a wide temperature range - 5.6° C to 54° C
