It began its activity in 1968, as a machining company, with a low number of workers, producing both maintenance and replacement parts at the service of its customers with a quick response and always trying to satisfy its customers in the maximum term and quality, through conventional machinery

The company started in those years in facilities of just 60 m ² where a few years later, thanks to their work and commitment, they moved to 400m ^{2 facilities} , much more suitable for the realization of their parts and quick response to their customers and, where at the same time its number of workers increased remarkably. Introducing at the same time the 1st CNC machine to its production.

In 1999, the company acquired new facilities of 1000m2 in the town of Rafelbuñol, where unlike the above, its machinery park is much more extensive and technological, than in previous times, already with CNC machinery almost entirely . This makes it have more production and more technology when it comes to manufacturing precision parts.

Currently, the company MECANIZADOS MAXIMINO BARREIRO SL has total facilities of 3000m ² , which are distributed 1500m ² for CNC machinery park and another 1500m2 for welding area based on the standard 15085-2 "Welding of railway vehicles" and all type of welding. The number of workers is currently 30 people with a high qualification and totally committed to the business project.
