QMLP’s rescue team consists of a diverse group of trained individuals, both male and female. The majority of our rescue personnel are firefighters that work with Echelon on their off shifts.

Every member of QMLP’s confined space entry team has undergone extensive training to qualifying/certifying them all major confined space rescue equipment and specialty skills. In addition, all team members have undergone the following mandatory training:

1. Confined Space Entry Awareness
2. Fall Arrest
3. WHMIS
4. Air Monitoring
5. Hazardous Materials Awareness
6. Self Contained Breathing Apparatus
7. Standard First Aid/CPR

Every member of our rescue team has undergone the following additional training:

1. Confined Space Rescue
2. Patient Packaging and Care
3. Rope Rescue Techniques (High Angle and Low Angle)
4. Rapid Intervention Techniques
