Research And Development To Help The Environment
Our research and development activities mainly focus on the industrial research into new technologies for the treatment and management of municipal and special waste as well as energy from renewable sources. The segment mainly works on behalf of the companies in the group, offering technical and regulatory support to internal departments.The R&D segment is part of the Technologies and Industrial Development area, and is therefore directly linked to the design department which analyses new projects or technologies and is able to closely cooperate with other departments in the Environment Division.
The purpose is to analyse new industrial proposals, both interventions to improve existing technologies and new complex technology systems.
The R&D area also provides regulatory support and information to both the Environment Division and other companies in the group.
Through the Technologies and Industrial Development segment, and specifically with the R&D segment, the Environment Division looks to the technological future of the sector, focusing particularly on recovery, recycling and respect for the environment
