Resource Recovery Solutions for Ferro Alloys

Harsco processes a range of ferroalloy slags (Ferrochrome, Ferromanganese) to recover the metals and recycle the residuals. The slag material is fed into a metal recovery plant, and goes through crushing and jigging phases. We adapt the process to the material being treated, using our know-how in handling ferroalloy slags. Harsco will deliver metallic units to the specified metal grade. The recovered metallic units are or sold on the open market, or returned to the customer for re-use in production. Commercial arrangements with customers are tailored to the needs of each contract. The residual aggregate is processed to a size fraction for the intended application (e.g. concrete).
