Sediment Remediation Services
Sevenson removes, processes and treats contaminated sediments. Sevenson owns and operates a full complement of dredges, pumps, piping, tanks, filter presses, centrifuges and related equipment to perform sediment remediation projects. Sevenson has successfully remediated contaminated sediments from lakes, rivers, creeks, coves, marshes and waste ponds and pits.
Sevenson`s capabilities and experience includes mechanical dredging, hydraulic dredging, cutterhead dredging, horizontal auger dredging and excavation in the dry.
Sevenson successfully completed the first large-scale Superfund sediment remediation project at the Marathon Battery Site in Cold Springs, New York. Since then, Sevenson has successfully completed contaminated sediment removal actions at numerous other sites.
Sevenson operates a state-of-the-art treatability study laboratory that aids in the development of sediment treatment approaches.
