Site Assessments

HMW has provided numerous Phase I and Phase II ESAs in Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama at commercial, industrial, agricultural, and residential sites. Typically, an ESA client is a buyer or lender who wishes to ascertain the environmental liability on a prospective real estate investment. HMW uses the ASTM E1527 standard when performing these assessments. If further investigation is warranted, HMW typically employs the use of direct-push technology (DPT) in order to collect soil and/or groundwater without the expense of conventional drilling.
