Site Characterization

Site characterization activities are intended to assess the physical and chemical nature and extent of hazardous substances released to the environment. The goal of any site characterization is to minimize investigation while providing sufficient information to understand the nature and extent of impacts and the risk that those impacts may pose to the environment. MFA has performed site characterizations on numerous sites under both federal and state jurisdiction.
