ESPI has extensive experience in the removal and treatment of hydrocarbon sludge residues found in oil refineries, crude oil terminals and process facilities. We provide both mobile and permanent systems designed by our own engineers based upon a detailed analysis of the material to be treated. Treatment systems may include centrifugal separation, washing systems, thermal desorption, steam separation or simple bio-remediation. The system may also provide additional treatment of the recovered oil and water phases. ESPI designed systems will reduce sludge to environmental disposal standards, and in many systems may recover usable hydrocarbon which often make the process extremely economical.
