RPS Transport’s advice is always given within the context of current planning policy guidance, such as Planning Policy Statement / Guidance notes including PPG13 Transport whilst recognising the particular needs of individual clients. Highway design advice is based along the guidance provided in the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB), the recently published Manual for Streets and the local highway authorities own design guides.
Senior staff have extensive managerial experience and the majority of professional staff are Chartered Engineers or Transport Planners. All have a broad knowledge and understanding of transport, highways and infrastructure planning and design issues.
