Trenchless Pipe Laying
Ludwig Pfeiffer carries out pipe driving work for man-entry and non-man-entry cross-sections, using controlled and uncontrolled methods. We construct all necessary press and exit trenches. Additionally, we are qualified to build all requisite structures, carry out the full range of associated civil engineering work and close the surfaces once the project has been completed. For trenchless pipe laying, Ludwig Pfeiffer also offers microtunnelling, as a flush-drilling method or screw conveyor system.
Microtunnelling is an efficient and environmentally-friendly alternative to pipe laying with trenches, and can also be used under demanding conditions. Groundwater or difficult geological conditions do not pose a significant problem for microtunnelling. It is a particularly reliable method both in city centres and in nature conservation areas, as well as for passing under mountains, rivers and traffic routes.
We have already successfully implemented tunnelling sections with lengths of more than 1000 metres without intermediate trenches and with diameters up to 3 metres.
