MUSC is a specialist in maritime and underwater work. The company was founded in 1974 by a Royal Naval Clearance Diving Officer to provide underwater security services.
We have a long history in providing sub surface and littoral explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) and survey services on unexploded ordnance (UXO). MUSC can therefore offer a full range of clearance services, from desktop / initial feasibility studies through to providing the personnel and equipment necessary for the safe and timely removal of ordnance.
Our expertise lies in the analysis, planning and execution of major worldwide projects. Our experienced project management team and cadre of specialist divers can manage a project through survey and feasibility study to completion.
The range of services covered:
- Feasibility/desk top studies.
- Assistance in obtaining permits.
- Pre and post area surveys.
- Ordnance clearance by experienced EOD officers.
- In-situ destruction or physical removal of ordinance as required.
- Area security and access control.
- Sourcing and provision of specialist equipment i.e. deep bomb locators, trepanner, steam gear fuze neutralisation tools etc.
- Security training and physical protection of on-site personnel
