Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE)
H.J.Hansen Elektromiljø has been active in the collection and processing of WEEE (Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment) – from industry and local authorities since 1995. During this period, extensive expertise has been accumulated in the environmental and economic aspects of WEEE processing. Recovery rates and environmental impacts are continually being improved through on-going development work. New targets are set each year as part of the annual environmental performance reporting to comply with EMAS registration.
H.J.Hansen Elektromiljø contributes its extensive knowledge to the eco-design of WEEE products by participating in research groups and government committees. Improved product design means that waste and resource use can be reduced and the product made easier to reuse or recycle.
