As one of the oldest firms providing water right appraisals, WWR has developed and utilized market information, simulation models, and econometric techniques to estimate the market value of water for federal and state agencies, nonprofits, and private industry. WWR’s valuations span a wide variety of water uses, including irrigation, municipal, industrial, hydroelectric generation, and fish propagation. WWR is nationally recognized for its expertise in water right appraisals and has helped define the standards for water right appraisals in many of the western states. WWR has the largest, high quality database of water right transactions in the western US. WWR draws upon this unique database when a comparable sales analysis is performed as part of a water right appraisal. The database is maintained for major and secondary water markets and all transactions are verified through extensive research.
