WinWedge software reads data from DGH RS232 serial data acquisition modules directly into Excel, or Windows software applications. Data transfers can be performed by sending commands to devices automatically, on timed intervals, or by pressing keys on a keyboard. WinWedge is highly configurable and contains advanced parsing capabilities to parse and filter data to meet most application requirements.
WinWedge may be considered a customizable serial I/O device driver that can automatically transmit commands and read data values. WinWedge is ideal for industries such as data acquisition, process control, quality control and others containing “mission critical” data. Serial data from data acquisition products such as DGH analog input modules can be parsed, filed to disk, databases, or communicated to other programs using Windows dynamic data exchange (DDE).
