Prolis - Version HL7 -Interface Software
HL7 Interface, a Prolis Laboratory Information System component DLL comprising of data consuming functionality and data generating functionality, integrated with the laboratory automation engin, Prolis Bridge. HL7 Interfaces are used to communicate bidirectionally with EMRs and other Lab softwares at the reference laboratories. This universal lab interface accommodates various emr interfaces because of its modular approach. In the context of the communication with an EMR, Prolis LIS data generating capability functions to format test results of patient test orders in to HL7 Messages and the Prolis data consuming capability functions to consume test orders in the form of HL7 Message, submitted by the laboratory client`s EMR Interfaces.
In the context of the communication with a laboratory software, Prolis data generating capability functions to format patient test orders being outsourced, in to HL7 messages and the Prolis data consuming capability functions to consume test results in the form of HL7 messages, submitted by the reference laboratory.
This HL7 protocol based and VPN based communication interface is available to the laboratory clients with EMR capable of issuing test orders and consuming results data in the form of HL7 protocol.
The laboratory client interested to interface her EMR, should contact the laboratory for the specification sheet of the data elements required for the interface. American Soft Solutions Corp., does not cater any direct request for the Interface Specifications.
