GridPro - Version v8.1 -Mesh Generation Tool for Selection Pane

Selection pane is an easy to use GL widget which helps in temporary corner grouping, face grouping and surface selection options.

  1. The Select Multiple Corners button helps in grouping the desired faces to a temporary corner group, ‘Select’ which can be used to execute operations such as wrap, copy etc.
  2. The Select Exterior Face Groups button shows the list of face groups available in the existing topology. It is same as the list shown in generic button. These face groups can be grouped to any corner group for subsequent operations.
  3. The Select Surface button helps in selecting the desired surface at any time. All the surfaces colour will be turned to grey and the selected surface will be shown in sea blue(Current Surface) colour upon selection.
  1. Click on the selection button.
  2. Drag a box around the desired corners.
  3. The selected corners are grouped to select group.
  4. Note that the select group will be reset, when you click on the selection button again.
  1. Click on the face group button.
  2. Enable the check box to view the corresponding face group.
  3. The enabled face group will be highlighted in the GUI.
  4. This can be added to a corner group and used for subsequent operation
  1. Click on the surface selection group button.
  2. All the surfaces will be turned grey except the current surface.
  3. Click on the desired surface to select and make it current.
