Rapidis - Route Planning and Optimization Extensions Software for ArcGIS
Logistics Planner for ArcGIS, is a suite of extensions for ArcGIS that offers Route Planning, Scheduling and Fleet Optimization to industries where the planning scenarios are industry specific and not always possible to solve with Esri core software like the Network Analyst extension.
Editions of the Logistics Planner:
- High Density Routing; Residential Waste Collection and Postal Mail Delivery Routes
- Demand Responsive Transport; Para Transit, Medical Trips and School Bus Routing
- Vehicle Routing Problem; Inspection Tasks and Distribution
Extensions are available for ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise (Server) and as a REST service cloud hosted by Rapidis.
With ArcGIS for Desktop, Logistics Planner is installed as an extension on users’ desktop machines and supports a traditional GIS professional / Planner workflow.
With ArcGIS for Server, Logistics Planner is used to deploy REST web services to be integrated in existing workflows or to form the basis of new workflows or applications.
Web services can be cloud hosted web services managed by Rapidis or they can be deployed to on premise ArcGIS Servers.
