Securiton FidesNet - Network Solution for Aspirating Smoke Detectors
FromSecuriton AG
The FidesNet network solution facilitates remote visualisation and operation of SecuriSmoke aspirating smoke detectors, targeting environments such as airports, laboratories, and IT facilities where technician access is restricted or challenging. This system employs the RCU 700 FidesControl unit with a 7-inch touch panel to enable operations like viewing, configuring, and maintaining detectors. FidesNet network can encompass up to 100 detectors, linked through RS-485 or Ethernet to FidesPort NCU 900, which functions as a data gateway for Ethernet connections. Measurement data can be accessed and managed via Modbus and SNMP for integration with superordinate management systems. Designed for complex applications, FidesNet ensures the standardized connectivity required for centralized safety management, providing comprehensive monitoring and operation capabilities. Most popular related searches

FidesNet: visualisation, operation and configuration.
Your Aspirating Smoke Detectors networking solution.
Your advantages of FidesNet
The FidesNet network solution is typically used wherever remote visualisation and operation are required, such as in airport high-security areas, laboratories, IT environments, etc., where technicians have limited access to detectors or where access is difficult. The networked SecuriSmoke aspirating smoke detectors can be configured via the RCU. Another possible application is centralised display and operation in a safety management system in order to monitor the entire installation from a single location. In addition to remote visualisation and operation, another important area of application is the ability to connect to other systems via standardised interfaces. For example, measurement data can be forwarded to the management system of a data centre to give an operator an overview of the system’s current status.
Operation
Operation is via the 7-inch touch panel of the RCU 700 FidesControl unit. All data from the networked special fire detectors is available on this display. Every detector in the network can be accessed via the FidesControl unit in order to call up detailed information, such as for maintenance work due. The detectors can be isolated by channel as well as reset in the event of errors or alarms. It is also possible to parameterise the networked ASDs via the display. The display language is user configurable. Available languages: German, English, Simplified Chinese. The networked SecuriSmoke aspirating smoke detectors can be parameterised via the RCU.
Networking
Up to 100 SecuriSmoke aspirating smoke detectors can be networked per FidesNet. The ASDs are linked to the FidesPort NCU 900 via RS-485 or Ethernet. The NCU 900 assumes the role of a data gateway for Ethernet networking. The measurement data of the networked ASDs is read out by the FidesPort and temporarily saved for further use. For hierarchically superordinate systems such as management systems, the data of the networked ASDs is available via Modbus and SNMP from the NCU.
- At-a-glance overview and straightforward operation on the 7-inch colour touch panel
- Automatic sorting of ASDs by status
- Up to 100 ASDs per FidesNet Network
- Onboard Modbus and SNMP interface
- Ideal for hard-to-reach ASD locations
- Perfect for medium and large systems
