Whitespace Work Software’s Resident Portal allows Councils to provide a one-stop-shop for their residents’ waste collection needs. Located on the Council’s website, residents can log into the Council branded portal to see their waste collection details; when their bins are due to be collected, live status update of the collection crew’s progress and the ability to report their missed bins. Giving residents access to this information 24/7 will relieve pressure from your customer services team and it caters for residents who may find it difficult to contact the Council during typical business hours.
The portal can also be used to arrange ad hoc requests for specialist services like bulky, garden or clinical waste collections, and set up to take payments online too. It even allows residents to provide feedback directly to the Council and report any fly tipping and other environmental issues they may see.
