Chemical Safety Training Course Online
This module provides the employee with an overview of the requirements of OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) and chemical safety information covered under the OSHA Laboratory Safety Standard (29 CFR 1910.1450). The employee will learn the basic issues that will serve as a foundation for job-specific chemical safety that should be provided by the worker’s supervisor.
This online training course is intended for employees covered under the OSHA Hazard Communication (29 CFR 1910.1200) and Laboratory Safety (29 CFR 1910.1450) Standards.
When Chemical Safety Training is completed, students will be able to recognize the hazards associated with chemical substances as well as hazard communication techniques, procedures for safe handling, and storage of chemicals.
