Confined Space Hazardous Entry Training
METI’s Confined Space Hazardous Entry provides training for Confined Space Entry Supervisors, Attendants and Entrants. Safely enter a space that was not designed for regular human occupancy, with restricted access or exit, and is or may become hazardous to a person entering it because of design, construction, location, atmosphere or materials in it with our 2-Day Confined Space Hazardous Entry Training.
Our Confined Space Hazardous Entry trains you in characteristics of a confined space, training requirements for confined space entry, duties when performing confined space work, physical and atmospheric hazards in confined spaces, control measures, pre-entry and post entry activities, and the contents of a confined space rescue plan.
Confined Space Hazardous Entry Training includes all topics covered in our 1 day Confined Space Entry Training, plus additional training for hazardous entry conditions.
- Instruction from Confined Space industry-experienced and certified instructors
- Properties of a confined space
- Hazard Identification and Assessment
- Atmospheric monitoring principles and ventilation principals
- Confined space permitting
- Duties and responsibilities of Confined Space Supervisor, Entrant and Attendant
- Use and limitations of an APR, SCBA and SABA
- Respiratory Protection, Atmospheric testing, Personal Protective Equipment and performing Confined Space Entry under supplied air
- Practical training will be conducted onsite using METI’s confined space training simulator
Upon completion of Confined Space Hazardous Entry training, you will receive a wallet-size Ticket/Certificate that will show prospective employers that you have the right credentials.
Certification is required by many employers, so feel free to have your prospective employer contact METI to confirm your Confined Space Hazardous Entry certification.
