To prevent injuries, fatalities and property damage due to exposure to dangerous substances in industrial workplaces
To give an understanding of the characteristics of liquids, gases and vapors classified as immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH)
To give participants the basic knowledge and skill to protect themselves and others from exposure to dangerous substances
