This 2-day workshop is hands-on and designed to review the proper phase contrast microscope operation, proper floc sizing and classifying, classifying protozoa/metazoa, filament abundance and identification and identifying other organisms seen in activated sludge. The microbiology will be related to process. Samples brought to class will be viewed and evaluated. Class size will be limited based on number of microscopes available (20 max).
This class can be presented at your own treatment plant. Due due the pandemic, general workshops will be scheduled when it is safe to gather for training.
