AMPHOS 21 Consulting S.L. is a company offering its services in environmental consulting since 1994. Formerly Enviros Spain S.L.., the main services of AMPHOS 21 are, on one hand, scientific consulting for nuclear and industrial waste management, technical consulting related to the management of water resources, contaminated land and energy optimization and on the other hand strategic consulting related to sustainable architecture, environmental management and mitigation and adaptation to climatic change effects.
Technical competence and skills of AMPHOS 21 staff is very high. Approximately 30 % of consultants hold a degree or a Ph.D in Chemistry, 25 % in Geology and 20 % are engineers or hold a Ph.D. in Engineering. The development of R+D projects allows us to recruit highly qualified professionals which are closely related to research, with training at the doctoral or post-doctoral level. On the other hand, staff personnel are encouraged to pursue post-graduate and doctorate studies, and many undergraduate students carry out their final projects in our company.
In addition to scientific and technical skills, most of the Board Members have carried out specific training in Business Administration (BMA or similar) in prestigious Business Schools. On the other hand, staff personnel regularly give lectures in training courses mostly at the university level (post-graduate studies, doctorate studies) in subjects related to their professional activity in the company, such as for example final disposal of nuclear waste or contaminated soils.
The main criterion to assess the quality of our work is the satisfaction of our clients as well as the communication and publication of our results at workshops, conferences and scientific journals at the international level. Since June 2002 we have a Quality Management System certified by AENOR which follows the ISO 9001 standard. Furthermore, we have recently integrated the Environmental Management into our Quality System, being certified under the ISO 14001 standard and the European Legislation CE 1221/2009 (EMAS).
