History

After ten years of car-recycling ATN Engineering B.V. was founded in 1989 as we started with the recycling of refrigerators. It all started after the invention of the drill-head for the quick degassing of the cooling-system of a fridge. With the help of this patented device we where able to remove the oil and the CFC (refrigerant) of a domestic fridge in 1 minute.

Today

Nowadays ATN Engineering B.V. bv is a company that has more then fifty-five plants/systems throughout Europe. And still the market is growing. During the years we have developed a number of plants that are able to solve recycling problems for a large number of customers.

Location

Located in the north of Holland we also have company’s in France and in the USA. The main-office is located in Ter Apel in Holland. End of 2009 we will move in to a new facility in Stadskanaal, 20 kilometers west of the present location. This new facility enables us to speed up production and to move on with a number of new developments in order to increase our range of recycling solutions.

Efficiency

Logistics, the key word for every high efficiency recycling plant. Up to 200 fridges an hour is no problem for our systems.
The slowest part in the chain of your recycling plant is deciding about the capacity of your total plant.

Maximum capacity

Machines have to work on the maximum capacity they are deigned for. Very often the capacity of a plant is limited because of the logistic system. ATN is able to design the most efficient logistic based on 30 years of experience. From a simple non driven system to an automatic system with lifts and automatic degassing stations. From 30 to more then 200 fridges per hour. ATN can help you with the best refrigeratos recycling solution.

Custom made designed and build 

In order to reach maximum efficiency the best designed logistic-system is needed. ATN is able to design that system with you based on more then 30 years of experience.

Because every logistic system has to be built within the boundary’s of your possibilities.
From 60 fridges per hour Upto 120 fridges an hour. Low number of staff is of course an important item.
