Simulation of human breath
This system is an examples of a mixing system that provides adjustable humidified gas mixtures to simulate a human breath. In the video, you can go behind the scenes of the customer`s lab and see the Environics 4000 being used in the development of passive, non-invasive breath alcohol detection technology for vehicles.
Testing of corrosive gases with humidified gas blends This system is used to test corrosive gases on metals with humidified gas blends. The blends were created from cylinder gases and permeation devices.
This unit was designed to draw gas samples in from multiple locations and supplies them to a gas analyzer through a common gas line. System also controls the flow rate of each individual gas.
This system was designed for the calibration of handheld monitors equipped with mercury vapor and mercuric chloride sensors. Because they tend to absorb on most surfaces in their vapor forms, the system features a fully heated gas path maintained at 200°C to prevent loss or degradation of the target gases. Integrated into the system were two high-purity Environics permeation ovens, which utilize disposable liquid permeation devices to generate stable, dry vapor concentrations for accurate and reliable calibration.
