Industrial wastewater treatment systems for metal industry - Metal

Existing Process:

Client was batch treating with typical chemical methodology and filtering through a filter press precoated with diatomaceous earth. Process generated approximately seventy-five drums of sludge (per treatment) for offsite disposal in a hazardous landfill.

Our Process:

Ecolotron, Inc. installed a continuous electrocoagulation system and treated wastewater when a sufficient volume was collected.

Results:

Wastewater discharges were in compliance with limits set by the regulating authority and sludge volume was decreased to eight drums of non hazardous material for disposal.
