Process cooling and industrial comfort applications solutions for air conditioning industry - Air and Climate
All buildings need air conditioning in order to obtained a good indoor environmental quality (IEQ) essential for the proper execution of the tasks and to assure a healthy environment of the occupants. Generally speaking, in the case of smaller buildings this can be provided by A/C units of each room, but once the building reaches a certain size it becomes cost-effective and more energy efficient to use a centralized system. This configuration normally uses “chillers” which are basically giant A/C units, but they work slightly differently because of their size.

During its operation, chillers generate cool water which is used to provide air conditioning in buildings, directly or through air handling units . All buildings generate a lot of unwanted heat, be it the solar heat on from the roof or the heat generated by occupants inside the building or the equipment they use.
This heat needs to be removed to keep the people inside at a comfortable temperature, but also to make sure that the electrical and mechanical equipment is kept within certain thermal limits, otherwise they will be ruined.
Chillers are typically located in the basement or on the roof. Roof top chillers tend to be air cooled whereas basement chillers tend to be water cooled.
We can offer a huge versatile range of high efficiency air cooled, water cooled, free cooling and remote condenser chillers that gives customers a wide choice of cooling capacities from 1kW up to 1.2MW.
We maintain a constant innovation and chiller design is driven by new demands for energy efficiency, local regulations and standards such as LEED, combined with requirements for new, low GWP refrigerants.
