A basic review of technologies used, and selection criteria to consider, to successfully control the VOC/HAP emissions exhausted from flexographic printing presses. Within the flexographic printing industry, the use of an Air Pollution Control System (APCS) to control harmful air pollutants is not new. Today, because of business expansion, modifications to plant operations, or changes in regulations, many companies are currently in the process of complying with local, state, and/or federal clean air requirements and will eventually be required to install adequate emission controls. Other companies may find the need or desire to upgrade their older equipment to a more modern/efficient control technology.
