Oxygen Analyzer - Trace Oxygen Analyzer
When using a trace oxygen analyzer to measure oxygen in a gas stream over a variety of applications, it is important to understand that the presence of any trace oxygen levels is most likely due to a leak path. The oxygen in the air that we breathe likely surrounds your entire process or gas infrastructure. And when the smallest leak path presents itself, trace amounts of oxygen (representing 20.9% of the air) can enter a pressurized pipeline at atmospheric pressure. While this can be hard to believe, it actually happens due to Dalton’s Law of Partial Pressures.
