Portable Crude Oil Refinery Plants

Akfen Mini-Refineries are skid mounted, modular crude oil distillation units (CDU) which process from 22.000 Liter of crude oil per Day and are capable of producing a variety of finished products including naphtha (straight run gasoline), kerosene, arctic and summer diesel and fuel oil. A reformer may be added for producing high-octane gasoline. Two or more plants can be installed on a single site allowing the simultaneous processing of more than one type of crude oil; and one plant can still be in operation in the event one plant is down.

Hot oil boilers are produced and used as an alternative to steam boilers in systems where high temperature is needed in industry (leather, paper, textile, food, chemistry, paint, etc.). It is produced in 8 different sizes between 250.000 Kcal / h and 5.000.000 Kcal / h as standard. (It is possible to produce at desired capacity depending on customer request.)

Base oil from the tank farm are pumped into the blending vessels and mixed with additives at the required temperature to obtain a homogeneous mix. There are several methods to achieve and optimum blend depending on the product and plant requirements. The blended product is then filtered and transfered to strorage tanks from where it is taken to the filling station and packed in containers or barrels. The entire process can be carried out in a basic manually operated plan tor automated PLC controlled plants. The lubricants are manufactured to API or other required specifications.

The desired mineral oil is obtained by thickening it with the necessary chemical substances in order for the selected base oil to have the proper lubrication property. Various types of grease are available, Red grease, white grease, Rubber grease ... It has formulas according to desired grease types, It is prepared by chemical engineers by making suitable mixture.
AKFEN MAKINA - HYDRAULIC OIL PRODUCTION PLANT
This base oil needs to have certain chemicals called additives added to it to enhance its performance as a good lubricating agent. These additives together perform diverse functions but each additive has a specific use and together they give the lubricant its character. Depending on the engine the lubricants is to be used; the ratio of base oil to additives varies from 85:15 to 90:10. Base oils: Base oil is highly refined crude oil or in some cases a synthetic composition and they account for roughly one percent of the total output of petroleum products from crude. It is essentially a by -product obtained during refining of crude and is obtained along with the heavier ends. Different operating conditions like moisture, dust, exposure to air, high/low temperature, high pressure, corrosion, etc dictate which base oil and which additives should be used.
