The Rion NA-28 is the quickest and easiest to use Class 1 multi-function sound analyser. The superb colour display is visible in all lighting conditions - you can always see what the instrument is doing. It switches instantaneously between sound level meter mode and real time octaves and/or third octaves - this analyser does things in seconds where others take minutes. You can always get the data off the meter quickly and easily too because it’s stored as comma delimited text files onto a memory card - open the data straight into your spreadsheet without the need for bespoke software or dongles.

The NA-37B is Rion`s 6th generation Aircraft Noise Monitor. The NA-37 and its predecessors are widespread in Japan with hundreds of units currently monitoring noise from both civil and military airports. The NA-37 offers some unique features including the ability to identify aircraft noise events without access to airports` radar/track monitoring systems. Aircraft noise is distinguished from other sources of noise by a 4 microphone system which identifies the location and direction of travel (in three dimensions) for each noise event. The system can also optionally include an SSR Radar Receiver enabling aircraft to be identified from their unique SSR Radar Identification Code.

The NA-37A provides a solution to the age-old problem of discriminating between noise generated by different sources by detecting their location and movement direction. The NA-37A enables permanent/long-term noise monitoring to demonstrate compliance with noise limits even when the unprocessed soundfield contains significant contributions from extraneous sources of noise. If you want to discriminate between the contributions from different noise sources for noise management purposes in a complex noise environment the NA-37A can provide a complete monitoring and data management solution.

The NL-52/42 is Rion’s new cost-effective, feature-rich, upgradeable Class 1/Class 2 platform for environmental noise, noise at work and noise nuisance. With the NX-42EX option it is a broadband data logger which is ideal for baseline surveys and compliance monitoring. The data is stored as comma-delimited text files onto an SD card so you can always get the data into a spreadsheet without recourse to bespoke software or download leads. Uncompressed audio can be recorded as standard (calibrated) WAV files by adding the NX-42WR option (as used in the NNR-03 Noise Nuisance Recorder).

The NL-62 is the extended (low) frequency version of the Rion NL-52, Rion`s cost-effective, feature-rich, upgradeable Class 1 platform for environmental noise. The frequency range of the NL-62 is 1 Hz-20 kHz. The NL-62 also has G weighting in addition to Z, A and C weighting. The NL-62 has all the functionality of the NL-62, and can be used with the NL-52`s options and accessories such as WS-15 Outdoor Windshield Protection, NX-42WR audio recording and NX-42FT narrow-band analysis. There is a specific octave/third octave option for the NL-62, NX-62RT. NX-62RT has the same functionality as NX-42RT but has additional low frequency octave and third octave bands to extend the frequency range all the way down to 1 Hz.

The Rion NC-74 is a Class 1 (IEC 60942) Acoustic Calibrator. Rion designed and manufacture this precision device which is ideal for field calibration of sound level meters with standard half inch (or 1 inch) microphones. Class 1 performance is assured by the atmospheric pressure compensation system built in to the NC-74. The NC-74 is small, lightweight and conveniently sized to fit in to the cases supplied with Rion sound level meters.

The VM-63A is perfect for testing product vibration levels as part of a quality control process. The VM-63A has a built in vibration sensor. The user simply touches the probe on the appropriate part of the machinery being tested and reads of the result on the clear LCD display. The VM-82 represents the gold standard for machinery vibration meters. It is practical, easy to use, reliable and accurate. The build quality is superb, it has a beautiful clear backlit display and it’s easy and intuitive to use. It has a separate sensor which is connected to the meter with a really practical coiled cable. This can also be attached to the meter via longer, practical and robust extension cables.
