Custom-Engineered Wastewater Solutions for Long-Term Value and Proven Quality

Urban growth, high land costs, strict environmental standards and the scarcity of new water sources are causing more developers, utility operators and environmental regulators to look for high-value solutions to wastewater treatment needs. Central utilities increasingly are facing growth demands but with declining funding. And long collection lines can be expensive to build and maintain.

Wastewater Reuse & Reclamation

For more than 25 years, Aqueonics has been a leader in reclaiming wastewater for beneficial reuse. Aqueonics was formed in 1979 with its patented technology to provide a natural, cost-effective solution to wastewater treatment and water conservation. Aqueonics facilities have reclaimed water for irrigation, aquifer recharge, golf course watering, toilet flushing, chill water supply, fire suppression, DOT deicing solution, boiler feedwater supply, vehicle washing facilities and more.

Sustainable Wastewater Reuse Solution

In Upland Hills Calif., Aqueonics pioneered what is now called wastewater mining when it worked in 1982 with the local utility to serve an 800-unit country club development. Aqueonics tapped into the utility sewer collection system and treated the wastewater for reuse in golf course irrigation. At the same time, its facility shaved the peak use for the utility, allowing it to serve the development without an expensive expansion of its facility.

Aerobic/Anaerobic Trickling Filter Plant in Sensitive Environments

Aqueonics was the first wastewater treatment company in 1986 to be approved for construction of a 100,000 gpd facility in the Pinelands Forest Preserve of Mays Landing, NJ. The facility and its subsurface discharge met some of the strictest quality demands in the country at the time of 2.5 mg/l of nitrogen. Discharge beds were located in a power line right-of-way to allow full development of the land.

Aquifer Recharge

All land has beneath the surface one or more water tables which can be separated by aquacludes. The water tables constitute aquifers and act as reservoirs from which water may be withdrawn. Aquifers are replenished naturally through rainfall, but can also be recharged by utilizing Aqueonics" efficient system of Aquifer Recharge which injects water beneath the surface through wells or percolation beds.

Stream Discharge

Aqueonics has been a leader in high quality, satellite treatment plants, with some of its first facilities breaking new ground in the areas of wastewater treatment in sensitive environments, water reuse and water treatment.

Overland Flow

Aqueonics has been a leader in high quality, satellite treatment plants, with some of its first facilities breaking new ground in the areas of wastewater treatment in sensitive environments, water reuse and water treatment.

Managing Onsite Wastewater Treatment for Long-Term Value

Property owners, developers, and utility authorities can add long-term value to projects with a properly managed on-site wastewater collection and treatment system.
