By putting companies’ technical processes in the context of their business goals, we develop permitting strategies for meeting regulatory criteria while allowing flexible, profitable operations. Our innovative approaches to managing compliance risk can remove roadblocks that stand in the way of constructing new facilities and expanding existing ones.
Environmental Review
Barr assists clients with large-scale reviews for the development of mines, fuel refineries, and power-generation facilities, as well as transmission lines and pipelines. We work closely with our clients and state and federal regulatory agencies to plan and carry out studies and analyses required by the environmental review process, including those related to: air emissions, cumulative impacts, human-health and ecological risk, socioeconomics, threatened and endangered species, water quality and water supply, wastewater generation and discharge, wetlands

CADD And 3D Modeling
Computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) is the use of computer technology for the process of design and design-documentation. CADD produces drawings and conveys information, such as materials, processes, dimensions, and tolerances, according to application-specific conventions. Barr’s engineers and designers use CADD to create conceptual as well as detailed designs and drawings that may include structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, material-handling and electrical systems and components in addition to general arrangements and plant layouts.
