BKP Berolina Polyester GmbH & Co. KG is one of the most internationally innovative system in the field of duct sanitation without trenches. Founded in 1961 in Berlin, the enterprise has successfully specialized in the processing of fiberglass-reinforced plastics (FRP). We set standards in the development and production of liners with many uses as well as the technical equipment necessary for their installation. The production of the Berolina Liner for the worldwide market is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and is regularly inspected by the Technical Surveillance Association. The Berolina Liner has been approved in numerous countries.
The history of BKP Berolina was founded in two indepentant working plants specialized in manufacturing different plastics based products. One of these plants - the VEB Plastverarbeitungswerk Staaken (located on the edge of Berlin) started production of articles for daily use at the beginning of 1960. After the reunification and the wave of privatisation the plant was bought by BEROLINA Group - the leading manufacturer of plastic crates for bottles. Shortly thereafter the Group with its diversity of plastic goods was forced to file for bankruptcy. Thanks to two new products ready for the market after just two years development the BKP Berolina found an investor who had confidence in the new ideas of the plastic-processing part of the Group.
Since 2011, the company has been headquartered in Velten. Here, we manufacture the Berolina Liner and the GRP pipe insulation, and send them ou worldwide.
